Painting has always been a passion of mine and I have painted for as long as I can remember, although general life sometimes prevents me from spending as much time on it as I would like.
Most recently I have been painting landscapes from photographs I have taken in the local somerset area, as well as further afield in Wales and the Orkneys.
The artists who influence me most are Monet, Matisse, Turner, Kandinsky, Patrick Heron and Mark Rothko. Their use of colour and light is an inspiration.
