We are always keen to welcome new artists, it keeps the group fresh and brings in new ideas and talent.
Members meet once a month (excluding December) in a private room in the Fromeway Inn in Radstock. We strongly encourage members to attend as many meetings as possible.
Email us with a selection of images, tell us a bit about yourself and your experience and provide a link if you have one to a website or to a social media page. If we like your work we will get straight back to you and invite you to our next meeting. We welcome all forms of art, both 2D and 3D.
generally The OBA has between 5 an 7 exhibitions per year. These can last for a single day or for a number of months. Some require stewarding some do not. All members take an active role in the group, stewarding exhibitions, finding and organising venues, assisting each other with transport if required, Hanging work and setting up exhibitions, publicity, social media interaction. Being and Old Bakery Artist is to be part of a team of dedicated artists who support and encourage each other.
