My subjects are mostly found in the immediate area where I live, the village of Paulton. Once something has captured my imagination I usually produce several paintings on the same theme; but all individual and in no way identical. I like to combine a fairly loose expressive way of applying paint with more clearly defined marks in an effort to capture the spirit of the subject.
