I took up painting a few years ago after a long career as a Graphic Designer. I particularly enjoy painting landscapes and like to entice the viewer into to my artwork and let their imagination take over. I paint in a range of mediums but find that combining mixed media gives me the best variety of colour and texture. Recently I have added fabric to my paintings as the patterns and textures add another dimension. I get my inspiration from the landscape around me mostly painting from photos I have taken.
