After graduating from Bath Academy of Art with a degree in Ceramics I went into teaching. Having retired from this occupation I am now able to devote myself full time to my ceramics. From my studio at home I produce hand built Raku fired vessels. I love to see the effects of Raku firing on the finished pieces. It is aways so exciting to see the results. As well as the Raku work I also produce thrown Earthenware. Again I am fascinated by the effects of the different glazes and often use up to five or six glazes on one pot. I love to experiment with the colours that these glazes produce.
